The Cultural Shift

pakistan

Perhaps the Punjabi culture is not sustainable in this day and age since it used to exist and in fact prevail at a much simpler time where there was less materialism and people were not as much status conscious as they are today so they did not feel the need to compete and keep up with the latest trends. “Curse”

At the end of the day indifference always wins from false promises

Even when you’re given none

Because it’s the hope that blinds you

Like a pineapple in a sealed can

There’s a seal on the top

And the other on the bottom

The first being indifference

And a second one – A scum

Baby, your hope is just blind

Indifference stands on top

And you’re the pineapple

And love is last or losted in numbness

Indifference fucking you foremost

Look, it’s on top of you

Enjoy being screwed while you’re in middle

Or stand up like the middle one

Have fun baby

Welcome to the club

Just have fun!

curse

curse

“you fall in love”

you fall in love you never know how this would end but you fall, then there’s one person who can completely drive you crazy and happy at the same moment.

you fall in love because you want love, you want to be loved and you want to love.

everyday and night you’re drowning in his thoughts and losing yourself entirely.

and if love didn’t have challenges, then what would be the point?

you fall in love

you fall in love

“Intense”

even if the equator falls today
her fear of trusting others will remain
she’s looking for love
when they say,they love her
she runs and hides herself
she drowned in the flood of her feelings
her thoughts torn her apart
no one could safe her
patience! wasn’t in her fate
she could only repent and have faith.

“The Christmas fairies”

Have you ever seen the Christmas Fairies?

Living in beautiful Holly trees

Dancing and singing on winter nights

And fly their little fairy kites

They brighten up the twinkling stars

And put they blue clouds to bed

Polishing the colorful flowers

Painting the crystal berries red

Have you ever seen the Christmas Fairies?

Bringing the wonderful Christmas snow

Apologies from an impulsive me…
Life is calling… where are you?
-William David

Life is a persistent teacher, teaches the best way anyone could teach!.Growth is optional but life is about change, depends on your thoughts.

‘LIFEISNOWHERE’

What one perceive from this statement, when it is reflected to one’s eyes at first glance relies on your mind level, on how you take or want things to be, it could be ‘life is now here’ or ‘life is no where’!1512310_791019034287973_5366986581144226711_n

Reduce Expectations

In each of my life’s circumstances, I had high expectations for my family, friends and business .I had expected each to remain constant.
Expectations of how you’d like something to turn out. Meanwhile I realized that the less expectations you have from people the less you’re hurted and the less people you interact with the fewer problems you get into.
Unreasonably expectations of life may always end up likely in pain, loss and disappointment. When you’re walking on a path make sure that path has a destination or there is no use of walking on it when you know and agree that you might end up lost in the spirals of sadness.10441035_791018414288035_3233778636373182809_n

Embrace the Wisdom

When you embrace and experience from change you act like a solid rock surrounded by violent storms all around even if you’re scared, and a level comes when change is no longer your enemy and you’re internally filled with patience, peace of mind and calmness. That level is call WISDOM! it gives you new definitions of visualizing time, life, happiness, sorrows, love, pain, relations and friends.

TIME..You broke many and one day you’re broken.

LIFE…You chase it all time and when it chases you it ends.

HAPPINESS…When you get them you don’t need when you need them, they don’t find.

SORROWS…When you think, they’re there; they’re gone when you’re happy.

LOVE…it is there when you don’t want. It pains when you want.

PAIN…When one isn’t there it pains. When it heals it’s gone.

RELATIONS…When you’re trusted you’re in, when you get new, old are forgotten.

FRIENDS…All are there when you’re there. One is there, when on one is there.

10393996_791015194288357_3651316766202347311_n

The greatest virtue is LIBERTY! And you never feel it though you have it.

No matter how much you try to move on you will always remember what you have gone through and how you’re made this. The traces of past keep on following you till your last breath and it’s funny that how you live it all alone on your own till your last moment.
Another lesson, I learnt from my curse experiences is that life never gives you second chance! If you like a dress on a branded store display you wish to buy and try to negotiate the price while bargaining it doesn’t get settle therefore you drop it and go to different store meanwhile you don’t like any other dress in market and come back to the first store and agree to buy the dress in the same price offered by the store unfortunately to come to know that the last dress of that article is sold and now even if you willing to pay ten times more but you can’t get that because that is sold ! And someone has bought and took that home.
So next time buy immediately if you like and don’t bargain on the price.

My Photography and its Inspiration

DSCN0068

Creativity has been a big part of my life and it is one of the qualities I possess that I am proud of the most thanks to Allah.  In my opinion there is no better appreciation creativity can receive than getting captured and acknowledged, be it the creativity of our Creator Almighty or the creativity of us humans. Naturally photography is one of the ways in which one can appreciate the creativity and beauty that something possesses and from over the centuries and millenniums it has evolved from carvings, to paintings, to photography, to video, to 3D video thus it is one of the things I admire and enjoy a lot.

My inspiration for photography is everyday life and for me photography enhances what we pass by as a mere moment, into something a lot more bigger and it redefines beauty for us, the beauty we fail to see while in that moment. Now I am no professional photographer, neither do I consider myself one, but that does not mean I should refrain from taking photos if I’m not taking ‘selfies’ or I’m not at an event. Photography means a lot more to me. It is the one tool that can generate every single emotion in a human being, be it laughter, sadness, happiness, care, inspiration or trust.Photography takes an instant out of time, altering life by holding it still. It is a way of feeling touching and loving and remembering everything long after you have forgotten them. Photography is not only the things you see, but it is the way you see them. So every photo you take has a little bit of the environment and a lot of you in it.

Photography, as a powerful medium of expression and communications, offers an infinite variety of perception, interpretation and execution. – Ansel Adams ( World renowned photographer. p.s guy has the same d.o.b as me :P)

Here is a little collection of the pictures I have taken from my phone and camera. Here is your insight into a little bit of me.

Me performing at an event ‘ Mistletoe’ held near Fortress Stadium, December 2011. Had the honors of sharing the stage with Bilal Khan and Qurat-ul-Ain Baloch:

POEM: SILENT ECHOES

His hands tremble, legs shake,

as he grabs a page.

The lights dim, eyes grim,

and a burning sage.

He looks for a rhyme,

can’t break the cage.

He shuts his eyes,

now he just can’t engage.

He screams and shouts,

he’s just at a stage;

no love, no pain,

It’s just blinding rage.

Lights out, breakout!

He just can’t control.

He’d lost his mind,

he just lost the soul.

Looks at her picture,

the photo frame on the floor.

She keeps starin’ back at him,

don’t speak no more.

He’s broken to the core,

eyes still sore.

Looks for a cure,

No, can’t take no more!

Puts a gun to his temple

and finger on the trigger;

Closes his eyes,

manages to give out a shiver.

Falls to the floor,

Eyes wide open, like her eyes were.

Except that he smiles,

At least he’s next to her.

The Power of Youth

We are always aware of the fact that Pakistan is in danger, it is basically strong in the field of weapons but between the people of Pakistan there are so much differences and contradictions that they don’t even try to unite as one. To be one and get united the people of Pakistan have to eradicate the internal disputes prevailing between them and they have to show maturity as well as a sense of national responsibility. We have to wake up from a deep sleep and invoke the spirit of our founder and bring back our country to its feet. Renowned Scholar, Dr. Tariq Rehman said that “Youth has a significant role in present dismal situation and we need to impart civic education to secure our better future.” And also adding the comment of Shabana Fayyaz, lecturer of Quaid-e-Azam University said that “The best investment under current scenarios would be empowering the youth”. She added that “We are surrounded by multiple crises and we cannot meet these challenges without an active participation of the youth as a catalyst of change.”

According to a survey, an overwhelming majority of the youth (61.8%) has faith in democracy and peaceful change, as they believe that their vote can be a catalyst for change. An amazing majority of youth (72.6%) is willing to get involved in volunteerism but only 17% are willing to do voluntary work for political parties. Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah used his ability and skills and by showing extra-ordinary courage, which he manifested in the process of creation of Pakistan and the fight he fought in all quarters during his lifetime. The people of Pakistan will always remain in debt to this great man and sacrifices given by millions of martyrs. We are on a hopeless journey but still we have to try to make efforts for the betterment of the society and develop an optimistic thinking. We should not lose the right path by simply seeing what kind of absurdities and unfair means are already being followed over here, rather we should exemplify good patterns of behavior for the coming generations.

I would like to shed some light on some of the events where the youth really created an impact. During the floods which destroyed half of Pakistan, the students and young workers raised charity and donated relief items to the people who had lost everything. It was the youth who marched alongside the lawyers for the restoration of the Chief Justice during the lawyer’s movement. Our under 19 team won the Cricket World Cup in Malaysia against India. Ali Moeen Nawazish scored 21 As in his A-level examinations in England.

Most of the population of Pakistan comprises of the youth, it is necessary for them to keep contributing for the betterment and progress of the country like they have before. The youth is one of the biggest assets of the country and they must be fully utilized, without exposing them to any harm simultaneously. They have fought for the improvement of the society, and are still making countless efforts to create goodwill.

In terms of community mobilization every District Youth Assembly of Youth Parliament of Pakistan is administered by YPP’s District Project Managers (DPMs) and a core group of registered members of Youth Parliament of Pakistan. In the form of DYAs, Youth Parliament of Pakistan has already completed the most important component of any project – that is community mobilization – and in all 18 districts young people have formally registered to take part in various programs/activities of Youth Parliament of Pakistan.

Every District Youth Assembly organises regular meetings with all the members and especially with the members of the core group. For this project, 75-80 of a district’s most active and hard-working youth have been grouped together and given the name of a Youth Democracy Team.
Each team is responsible for carrying out the following tasks: peer group discussions in their particular district, capacity building through training workshops, voter-registration awareness campaigns, holding sensitization sessions in colleges and universities and the development of a Youth Charter of Demand.

in addition to that another remarkable example of yuth participation was seen in the abbas town incident held in karachi. Rizwan Abbas chose to spend the night of Sunday’s deadly attack in Karachi on a hard pavement rather than his comfortable bed to protect his Sunni neighbour’s abandoned house.Although his own house escaped damage, he stayed under the open sky to watch over the damaged house of his friend, Babar, who fled the area with his family. The 25-year-old received injuries when the massive blast ripped through Abbas Town, but as soon as the doctors bandaged his head, he returned home to provide a helping hand to the victims.
“When my brothers are in pain and in need, how can I stay away and not help them?” Abbas said as he walked around the rubble the next morning, helping remove the heavy concrete blocks.

The attackers are mistaken if they think that blasts would inflame the ongoing sectarian violence. Living peacefully for years in the apartments that were heavily damaged in the blast, Sunnis and Shias have become even more united amid pain, grief and devastation.Regardless of the differences in their religious views, the area’s residents have risen together to console one another and help victims get back on their feet.“There is no Sunni or Shia here. We are all Muslims,” said Mohammad Nasir, a volunteer. we can say that…We are Young Seagulls, trying to fly without feathers. Our precious gems and valuable assets, youth, in the shape of brilliant students, professionals and people in all walks of life are being discouraged, exploited and humiliated by the corrupt lobby. The solution is in our hands. We need to fight for our rights and make Pakistan the country its founder dreamed of it to be.

Pakistan – The Land Of Opportunities And Hope

In such perilous times when all hope seems to be lost, I believe Pakistan still stands as a strong independent nation. Even though the country faces serious internal and external threats, it has tremendous potential of becoming one of the leading countries in future. I would not be wrong to label it as the land of opportunities and hope. Being the second largest Muslim nation, we have the tenth largest workforce in the entire world. Versatility in talents is skill is one of the strengths of the nation. The resilience of Pakistanis has no match!

The four beautiful provinces of Pakistan have their own specialties. It has immense natural resources; many of which are yet to be utilized, like the valuable mineral resources in Baluchistan and the large amount of unused fertile land. The Gwadar Port highlights the important strategic position Pakistan is situated at. Think of the growth this country is capable of achieving, if only the overall governance is improved. No wonder Pakistan was considered to be one of the 22 nations which were earmarked to be one of the leading economies in the 21st century. The entire world sees the potentials of this nation, why don’t we? It’s also a matter of pride for the entire nation that Pakistan is the only Muslim country which possesses the nuclear power. Our army is one of the strongest military powers in the world. Its tourism prospects are wondrous since such scenic beauty exists in this land. Moreover, the zest of Pakistan’s youth is commendable.

Having said all that, I wish to say that in the current scenario where Pakistan seems to be a politically unstable country that is combating multifarious problems like terrorism, we do not need any more criticism by its people who consider it to be a doomed land. How could it be doomed? All that needs to be done is to employ intelligent policies faithfully and we can redeem our past glory and bring out the vibrancy of this nation.

Beauty at a Glimpse

Terrorism is all we talk about. Pakistan is not all about negativity, there is a lot we choose to neglect. Pakistan is a country which is brimming with natural beauty and nobody can deny that. There are numerous among the youth of our nation who underestimate the beauty of Pakistan; they neglect to see the fortunes stowed away under the cultural landscape and look at it condescendingly, comparing it with the “luxuries” other countries have to offer.
Pakistan has the worlds most beautiful places to visit. The northern areas and the Kashmir region depict how heaven would look like.
